What to do with 27 golf cart batteries I just bought this year????

Hi Y'all,

My loss may be your gain. Just trying to gauge interest in something. I bought 27 new golf cart batteries this year to make a solar energy storage bank, but we are now selling our home. So now I have to dismantle the storage system and sell off the parts. Do you think people would be interested in buying slightly used batteries for their golf carts at a good discount off the $115, plus tax, plus core charge Batteries Plus gets?

Item Number: SLIGC115
Brand: Duracell Ultra
Voltage: 6
Format: BCI Group GC2
Lead Acid Type: True
Battery Type: Basic
Capacity 20hr: 220AH
Chemistry: Lead Acid
Lead Acid Design: Flooded

OP, there is a “buyer” for almost anything. Perhaps a dealer of used golf carts might be interested if the price is right. Obviously, it is your belief that this system would not be a marketing tool for the sale of your home.

Can you not just leave the system with the house? Bust them up with a sledge hammer, melt the lead and make fishing sinkers or bullets.

I'll take a guess.....no permits were pulled prior to installation.
