Endoscopic Sinis Surgery
I am a patient at Lake ENT and have a very bad sinus infection. There are 3 Doctors that do that procedure;
Dr. Judith Milstead, Dr. Dwight Vaught and DO Michael Freedman. Does anyone have experience with any of them? Your input would be appreciated. Thank you. |
NO familiarity with the procedure, but good luck. We hope you get some good responses as many people would like to know the same thing.

My husband sees Dr. Milstead for ear problems. I asked if he likes her and his reply is: "She's OK" which is not a huge endorsement by any means. Dreadful office, long long wait to be seen.

Long list of general opinions on sinus surgery. Hope this helps. |
I had the surgery up north, years ago for constant sinus and ear infections. It didn't work. Some years later changed my way of eating (cut out grains, sugars, yeast, soy etc) as I found I had some sensitivities...once I did this the infections ceased. Don't know what your issues are and know nothing of that practice you ask about.

A homeopath suggested I start using a Neti pot and saline rinse which it turned out totally works for me! |
Husband and I both use Vaught. Went to Mikstead once and prefer Vaught.

Not knowing the cause of your sinus issues I can only speculate on its causation, but I have have been plagued by allergy caused rhinitis and congestion all my life. In addition to the Neti pot I had this RF turbinate procedure which was a piece of cake. It drastically reduced both sinus and ear infections for me. Turbinate Radiofrequency Treatment of Chronic Obstruction * California Sleep Institute of Palo Alto CA * Sleep Medicine Doctors
