Went to Too Jays Restaurant in SS last night...I found the staff to be cold-along with the french fries. However, what I found disturbing, after drinking half the water...I observed two long black hairs stuck to the inside of my water glass. When I reported it to the waitress, she took the glass said she would reported to her manager...then came back with he check...and no one came back after that. We paid the bill and left...never return again. Just FYI.

It happens. How many times were you there and everything was perfect. All restaurants deserve a second chance when there is a problem such as you encountered. We went to Square One on 466A for the first time, they stuck us in a dark corner next to the restrooms when there were only 3 other tables occupied, the waiter took our drink order, came back for our burger order and never brought our drinks until after we got the burgers. We never saw him in between. The experience was mediocre at best but we will go back and try it again. I don't quite understand the decor in Square One.

Never again is a long, long time over a minor issue.

I agree. I grow tired of negativity that is over such a small situation.

We love square one. Usually great service and tasty food. I’m sorry you were disappointed. The reason you don’t get the decor...you ain’t from Texas or Oklahoma. :a20::a20::a040::a040:

Ask for Christine as your server if/when you go back to Square One. Should she be on, she is one of the best servers we have had, anywhere. Sometimes she works the bar, but we always ask for her. I believe she usually works as a server on Wednesday late afternoon/early evening.

Regarding the OP, we have found inconsistency between all three TooJay locations. If this was your first bad experience after having had good service, I agree with others that you might want to give it another chance.

A hair-raising experience for sure.
