Airboat “tours” recommendation
 

Grandkids coming next week and want to do one of the airboat tour/rides. Always wanted to do that as well so this is a good excuse.

Always see a few advertisers in the paper. Wild Bill seems the most prevalent. Any suggestions/recommendations from previous experiences?

Wild Bill does a private 6 person boat tour for $300 for an hour. The Private tours get no discount from the newspaper coupons.

Be very careful--airboats are Coast Guard regulated--there was a fatality in S.Fl it has led to new regulations --they may not be in effect

I highly recommend using Swamp Fever Airboat Tours on Lake Panasoffkee. We just took our granddaughter this past Monday and it was awesome. Captain Ron is very friendly & professional, also following the ride you can have your picture taken holding a four year old gator named Earl.

Wild Bill's.

Wild Bills....have used them multiple times, grand kids love them....but I assume there are several others that would be just as enjoyable.

Took the 6 passenger at Wild Bills. Well worth the extra. Went over the dam. Big boat could not do.

Thanks all ...... seem like it's going to be Wild Bills. I checked Swamp Fever for a "private" boat for 6 and they wanted more than double Wild Bills for the same. They may (or may not) be better but they're way too expensive.
