Do you recommend a jeweler?
I have no experience in this arena. Do you have a store you recommend?
Also, is it customary to negotiate the sale price on the more expensive items? Please don’t tell anyone about this. |
Holy topaz, Batman! No replies?

I’ve had good experience with Arden’s at LSL. Jewelry repair/cleaning, wedding gift with engraving. Won’t hurt to ask if they have wiggle room on their price.

Gold in Art Jewlers in Lady Lake will replace your watch battery for free. Makes me almost wish that I still wore a watch.
I will highly recommend Gold and Art on 441 next to Starbucks.
Ardens isn't cheap but they are very professional and I trust them. Also if you go in the morning they have a plate of warm cookies.
I think it is possible to negotiate prices, the mark up on jewelry is ridiculous. Or maybe bring in old pieces for credit. Years ago, my husband managed a price match war between two jewelers that carried the same item. :)

Coast to Coast, in Southern Trace.
Brownwood Jewelers very honest and reasonably priced.
We had a good experiences with Arden's. We've purchased a couple of rings from them.
I highly recommend Gold in Art.... a true jeweler, designs and makes unique jewelry. Not a chain that just sells ready-made jewelry.
Ardens at Lake Sumter...See Nikki..She is the best
Thank you for the recommendations. I will c ck out all of them.

Gold in Art in Lady Lake. My wife has them do all her repair work and occasionally adds to her jewelry collection using this store. She loves the place.
