Pause

Pause.

Pause before judging.

Pause before assuming.

Pause before accusing.

Pause whenever you're about to react harshly.

Pause.

You'll avoid doing and saying things you'll regret later.

:agree:

I also say that one should pause before hitting the "send" button and thinking, "is this what I really want to put out there" and how would I feel if someone said the same thing to me. IMHO

"Agreeing to disagree", is the respectful thing to do.

Joe, excellent post as usual! How many times have I written a nasty gram and stopped and asked myself "what are you doing, does it matter .............. no, life is too short".

Excellent posts on this thread.

With the rise of social media over the past decade, and so many people sharing and sometimes oversharing, it does pay to be on the prudent/circumspect side when posting thoughts and opinions. For those of you with children/grandchildren/younger relatives or friends who are still in the job market, many employers do check a potential employee’s social media profile before extending a job offer.

A good rule of thumb . . .don’t post anything you wouldn’t want your grandmother to read.

Pause before walking out onto a roadway, even at a crosswalk.

Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.
