New map of Fenney in the Daily Sun yesterday

The map shows all of the proposed roads south of Route 44, including the roads that will intersect Route 471 well south of Sumterville.

It also shows how Route 301 will be changed to bypass Coleman, which I think is a good idea. Maybe 'downtown' Coleman will be able to develop into a nice place to visit.

It looks to me like the designers are trying to guard against the traffic bottlenecks we now have in some areas of TV.

As they are developing Fenney, they have had to work around the existing houses in Adamsville, the quarry, and the prison. On Google maps, it looks like the large area southeast of Sumterville is mostly dry open land, and I bet that area is the real future of TV.

And, it shows a new car bridge crossing the Florida Turnpike east of the plaza.

When this is all complete, 44 might be the center of TV.

No

I am South of 70 and I do not think there is any chance of 44 being the center in my lifetime. Brownwood is still a ghost town.

look at the maps, may not be in our life but it will be. Brownwood is far from a ghost town, it was built in preparation of all the new development at least 3 new tenants this year and a lot happening in Paddock.

Brownwood opened in 2012 6 years ago it is still a ghost town.

They are selling 6 or so homes a day down here, prior to 2017 they built zero homes south of 44, they know what they're doing. If I was younger I would open in Brownwood.

Nope

I would not buy south of 44 and I am under 70.

South of Spanish Springs there are several ghost towns.

Like all of the vacant lots behind Fresh Market on 466, and the vacant lots where Trailwinds is being built along 466A.

Yes, there is a lot of open space near Brownwood, but it is gradually filling in.

I think the TV management is planning for the long term, which very few of us will be alive to see. In the meantime, we like being a part of a community that is moving forward.

They built way ahead of all the new homes being built. Once it’s connected with the new southern Villages it will fill up.

I don't agree. Brownwood is bustling and EXACTLY the level Lake Sumter Landing was at six years of age.

Have some cornbread. You'll feel better.

GG is correct. I remember driving over the bridge to lake Sumter Landing in 2007, and our gps said we were in the lake.
You went to the sales office, got breakfast on the veranda that is now Panera’s, but most all of our activities were in Spanish Springs, since LSL was still in its early stages. All town squares take time, look at SS and the open storefront that will be taken over soon by new retail. Its always a work in progress

I couldn’t find the map. Can you tell me... was it Friday’s paper? A pullout?
