What are your five favorite meals?

Here are mine;

Roast Turkey and ALL the fixin's. (Which used to be Oyster dressing) and broccoli parmesan, and homemade yeast rolls and Chess pie, etc. etc. etc.

Salmon patties with other good stuff.

MY...Meat loaf, mashed potatoes, Ohio fresh corn and tomatoes.

Roast Leg of Lamb and mint sauce with all the other yummo stuff that we eat with it.

Roast pork, and all.

What are your top five....or even TOP ONE???

Julia Child’s Beef Bourguignon | The Gourmand Mom

This cost a lot to make and is very time consuming but turned out wonderful and my guests liked it. I also did it in the crock pot and the smell in the house was great.

My father when his eye sight was better and before they lost the recipe used to cook Gert's Chicken which is a meal or orange juice, brown sugar, green pepper, diced pieces of already cooked chicken that had been dipped in flour, and a few other ingredients. I have been trying to recreate it as have my parents but we have not yet re-discoverd Gert's Chicken.

I like pork chops with some cream of chicken or mushroom soup poured over it in a crock pot and then later served on noodles.

My favorite meal would be something I can never have. All the family crowded around the table at my brother's house, Eating whatever Ronald cooked and listening to his stories. He, his wife and our Mother are gone. His children are grown and live in different places in their own homes. It's not quite the way we thought it would be.

Charbroiled Oysters from Drago's or the Florabama Bar.
Jambalaya..made by me
Seafood Gumbo...South of Hwy 84, West of Pensacola, and East of the Texas/Louisiana line.
Oyster Po Boy from Casamento's or Parkway
Baked chicken breast with cornbread, collards, and rice.

Yeah, I'm a regional guy.

I LOVE every one of them but only now can have the Lamb Chops and the Prime Rib. I like the chops with apricot chutney and the prime rib with sour cream horse radish sauce.

Those are my favorites. What I made for lunch today was Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe.
