My advise would be to install laminate flooring and not Vinyl. Its way better looking, has many more color/design options, costs about the same, and is also way more durable.

Could you explain a little bit more? From all he information I've found, "luxury vinyl" is the toughest, most water resistant flooring you can put down. Excellent in the kitchen, and the good stuff looks exactly like wood.

What am I missing? We're considering using vinyl.

Have vinyl plank in bathroom and kitchen easy to care for and comes in variety of wood grain finishes
