Which homes have GAS Heat?

Is there a formula for year built, location, and home type?

Thanks in advance

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can get gas anywhere south of Rt. 466. Having said that, don't assume that all homes north of Rt. 466 have gas either... some areas do and some don't.

There are many areas South of 466 that have gas heat. It was pretty common up until about 2007. Amelia, I'm not so sure about. But, I believe all the other newer neighborhoods are all-electric... Hadley, Bonita (except, perhaps, the original villas), Duval (except perhaps the early villas and ranches built north of O'Dell), Hemingway, St Charles, Pennecamp.

The last areas that had widespread gas were Largo, Sabal Chase, Mallory, Caroline, Va Trace, Poinciana, Sunset Pointe, Liberty Park. Everything north of Lake Sumter but South of 466 should also have gas capability (Winifred, Bridgeports, Bonnybrook, Belevedere, Tall Trees, Ashland, Lynnhaven, etc). Within these areas, I'm not sure if they all have gas heat, but, I know there is a mix of gas and electric appliances (stove, dryer, HWH).

Also, not sure about the newer areas of Marion County (c 2002-2004) ... Chatham, Calumet, Piedmont, etc). Do these areas have predominantly gas heat?

Did I hear that right?

Yes we have gas in Amelia! Home built in spring of 2007.

I live in Springdale (circa 2001) and we have gas heat. I would assume that it is the same for the rest of the Marion county villages.
