How to dispose of old batteries?
 

I am new to TV and just wondering how should we dispose or recycle old house hold batteries? AA, AAA, D, C etc

I think Home Depot still takes them.

Toss them in the garbage

It is my understanding the alkaline batteries go in household trash, Nicad, Nickle metal hydride, and lithium based batteries need to be recycled. As stated above, Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy as I recall all have recycling bins.

Only rechargeable batteries are recycled. All the others go in the trash.

I've seen a battery disposal box at Lowes too.
