Hot water tank replacement
We own a Camilla, recently we tried to replace the hot water tank, come to find out there is not enough room to remove the tank without disassembling the furnace ducting. Major problem and expense, anyone else encounter this problem? My feeling, either the builder or heat/air contractor are culpable here, any opinions?

The builder designed the home and I assume that included the placement of the hot water heater. Don't see how you would win in court but you could talk to the builder and see what he would do? Any ability to leave the old tank and install a new one in another location?

OP, I sent you a private message.

I find that being polite and asking for information gets you much farther than angry accusations. With anyone. ANYTIME. Like when people are removing a chair from your home to dispose of it. Being polite is not passive aggressive. It is being polite. Sorry. I digressed. It is another beautiful day in The Villages! |
Maybe try On Demand water heater. Looks smaller in the pictures and seems like a great investment in water heating cost savings.
