Chef salad at home. What do you put in it?

Last night we had chef salad and a new find from Aldi's; German Bean soup. (It is really good) Last night our chef salad had mixed lettuce, left over roast chicken, red grapes, dried cranberries, onion, grated American cheese, hard boiled eggs, cut up raw cauliflower, and bleu cheese dressing.

Try this soup sometime. We really like it;

I like to add the following to my salads, depending on what I have on hand: Red Onion, Celery, Carrots, Garbanzo Beans, Sunflower Seeds, Croutons, Radishes. I will try that soup GG! Thanks for sharing.

To me it is all about the dressing you put on the salad. I'm not a fan of bottled dressings and make my own a lot. I have not been able to make a really good ranch dressing. Not a fan of the packet. I do like the ranch at Mallory, Longhorn and Outback. I recently found out you can buy fresh the ranch dressing from Outback. I had salads every night for a week and a half loving every drop of it.

In my chef salad I put chopped ham, chicken, hard boiled egg, chopped beets, black beans, chopped tomato and shredded cheddar cheese. Ranch dressing. Can't wait to try that soup!

Lots of gin, then add an olive.
