Noodle Kugel. Yes or no.
 

Our friend always brought Noodle Kugel for a Christmas potluck we had. It was yummy. She fixed it different ways. I liked it with raisins and nuts. Do you fix it or like it?

I think it is similar to bread pudding but it has sour cream or Philadelphia cream cheese in it...and eggs and milk I think.

I don’t know when the last time was,but the first time, it was made by Connie, who was a best friend to my second boyfriend Bill, and they were from Rockville Centre, Long Island. Wide egg noodles combined with an egg-rich custard, cinnamon and white raisins and baked until slightly crispy. It was, in a word, fabulous. And you know I do not use the F word lightly.

I grew up with it, I make it, my daughter makes it. When I come back I can make you some if you like. Jane
