Party affiliation change?

Is it too late to change parties as a registered voter for this year's primary? I totally forgot Florida is a closed primary state. I wanted to vote for [X party] though I'm registered as [Y party]. I think I missed the deadline by a little more than a week. Help! I didn't know much about my chosen candidate until recently and it looks like it might be too late to switch!!!
