Lamppost
The bulbs in out lamppost only seem to last a few weeks and then blow out. Have tried every kind of bulb and wattage. Have cleaned and checked all the electrical connections. Does anyone have an idea? Do you know a contractor who might be able to fix this?

have same problem with my lamppost. led bulbs no help. hope there a solution.

You might try measuring the power to the bulbs with a volt meter. You might be running over 110 volts and this shortens the bulbs life.

Steve, I am a retired electrical engineer, I may be able to help, please save any failed bulbs, I would like to take a look at them. Also, is your lamp post a single bulb or a 3 bulb unit using candelabra type bulbs? Let me know if you want help.

Take the top off the fixture, clean it, and put a bead of silicone caulk around the nut that holds the top ornament on. They all leak either onto the bulb or onto the socket.

Bulbs are generating to much heat, drill some small holes in lamp on sides to vent . Had same problem, bulbs last 2 yrs or more now

Had the same problem, switched to LED, no problems for 3 years
