Leaving in the morning!
 

Wish me luck! Driving to TV as of 8am Tues! Weather looks dreadful from Washington DC south to our overnite stop in Florence, SC; but a bit better for the rest of the trip
on Wed. :ohdear:

DH has a cold and cough but insists on leaving anyway - why not - I'd rather have a cold in FL than NJ, too! :shrug:

He won't let me behind the wheel, so it is up to me to pray the rosary as he curses anyone perceived to be in his way or not as smart a driver as he! Oh, my my! :rant-rave:

Gotta go find my dunkin' donut coupons and then it is off to sleep! 2 more wakeups and I will be a happy camper! :clap2:

NC weather
 

Drive carefully through NC - we've had one of the worst winter storms this year. Snow, ice, sleet yesterday with a slight thaw. 10 degrees overnight (means the roads will re-freeze).

Crazy North Carolina weather. We usually only see one snow that lasts a day. So far we've had three - this one being the worst.

I'm so envious - we won't be leaving for nearly two years :cry: - unless you want to stop by and get me.

thanx for the thoughts! relatively easy drive - small number of bad drivers - and no rain 'til NC! we're about to tuck in here at our usual florence, sc stop and will enjoy the warm and sunny drive to TV tomorrow. weather is expected to improve with each mile south - yay! will be able to shed the sweatshirt by noon! this is the life - leaving inches of snow back in va and dc - sorry for those we left behind.
