I own very little swoosh marked products anymore. That won't be changing anytime soon.

I just got rid of my old Nike shoes and gym shorts. I will never wear anything with their logo (now V for vile) on it again!

Freedom of speech is alive. You may not agree with his message, but you have to respect his right to express it.

I agree with the boycott and won’t be buying any Nike merchandise. He has a right to express his opinion and I will do it with my wallet

Good for Nike!

Just checked my closet. I hope Lands End doesn't hire Kaepernick. I'll have to walk around naked.

Fredman 09-04-2018 04:28 PM

I guess wearing socks depicting police as pigs is ok also

He can express it all he wants to on his front porch or by calling a press conference, but do not do it where I “PAY” to watch a specific event, such as football or any other entertainment venue. Now I cannot watch the National Anthem on TV before football games because it offends a very small quantity of NFL players. Freedom of speech is not a workplace right. Freedom to boycott business, entertainers, athletes or anyone that do not comprehend that, is everyone’s right. I guess Nike’s 3% stock drop (4.2 billion) today confirms that. Sales decline and more stock price issues to follow. My FREEDOM OF SPEECH STATEMENT: JUST DO IT DONE WITH NIKE.

 Check their stock price......

Instead of throwing away your Nike stuff, how about donating it... to some veterans?

Nike’s moral stand just cost their investors 4.2 Billion, with a “B” today. They forced their moral values on unsuspecting stockholders. But that’s Nike’s platform: “Just Do It”

debow 09-04-2018 05:13 PM

I don’t watch NFL anymore and I will no longer buy or wear a Nike product. I guess protests work.
