Is there a golf car insurance policy available for 2-3 month rental? If so, do you purchase from golf car rental company or from insurance agency?

This past winter we rented for 2 months a golf cart from Grandma and Grandpa’s Buggies, were were able to get insurance thru the dealer. Call Scott Prince for a rental the guy is super 352-552-8478.

Unless you get a policy in your hands from a REAL insurance company the person you rent from might just be "self-insuring." That's fine for physical damage to cart but if you hit and injure someone where you can be sued for big bucks it won't work. Just make sure (get proof in writing) that you have liability coverage not just coverage for scratches and dents.
