Stay on the cart paths at the tee boxes.

Ok, the rant for the day is directed to the limited mentality people who, when they drive to the next tee box, they have to pull half their cart off the cart path as they’re stopping. WHY??? Do you pull off in your yard when parking in your driveway? No? Do you drive into a persons yard when going to their home for a visit? No? Then quit destroying the grass at the tee boxes and stay on the cart paths.

Probably the same class of people that think they have to pull up to within 2’ of a green or have to drive between a green and a green side bunker.

Totally agree. The rule for those with RA tags is to keep 15'(since a golf cart is about 4' wide think of it as at least three golf carts parked between you and the green)from the tee boxes, bunkers and greens. When a bunker is next to a green(even though there's room)do not drive between the bunker and the green. They can and will revoke your RA tag for not following these easy to understand rules.

They work very hard to keep the golf courses in great shape only to have golfers park their carts on the grass instead of the golf cart paths. Several hundred carts a day parking on the grass edges of cart paths will take it toll. Stay on the paths where possible. Golfers should also read the rules about private property along the golf courses. You are not supposed to enter private property to retrieve your ball, and never drive your cart on a homeowners yard. Private Property not golf course property. Take a few lessons.

These violators would be 4th on the list of the inconsiderate/uneducated/ golfers that do not fill divots, fix ball marks or rake bunkers......

Lack of education/consideration and enforcement are ruining many of the executive courses.

I don't play golf, so I don't know if there is one: perhaps starting a required orientation for any new players (and current ones initially) when signing up to play golf here in TV?

The Villages doesn't have exclusive rights to this type of behavior. Every golf course I've played on between here and Virginia has inconsiderate golfers. No amount of lessons or orientations are going to fix this. It is what it is.

It will only get better if the villages enable their ambassadors to take action.
