Taking I95 to TV since the hurricane.
 

Knowing that 95 is still closed in parts of NC, has anyone used an alternate route from the northeast? We usually stay in Florence overnight, we have a dog, and finish it up the next day. Prefer not to take I81, if possible. Thanks.

You’ve come to the right place (I think?). We left the Villages on Saturday and are driving to New England. IF 95 was open thru NC we would have taken it, since it’s not we stayed at LaQuinta in Florence (we have 2 dogs). When we left Florence we took I-20 to I-77. We did hit I-81 today and will take that to I-78. I81 was heavy with truckers today. Not sure I’ve given you the answer you wanted just our experience on this trip to New England.
