I suggest you call the available providers, and remember whatever price they quote you will probably be a teaser rate for 3 months or possibly longer, then you will get the real rate, so ask what the rate will be after the teaser or intro rate expires. Also make sure you ask about contracts, for example Spectrum states NO CONTRACT, but as a recall there were many people complaining about changes in rates and problems getting it straightened out. Also, many suppliers have different plans, so bottom line I do not think the community can answer your question, but I may be wrong.

Forsyth? I'm guessing that's a villa neighborhood. What village are you in?

Cheapest - you don't care about bandwidth?

We're at Forsyth Villas across from Mulberry. Band width not important. We're thinking of getting a cheap Walmart antenna ($30+/-) for TV....we're not big TV people.

You talked about "cheap" and "lowest price"..... is what kind of service available no matter?

I would think it is $35 for Centurylink DSL.

My daughter's in-laws recently bought in the village of Piedmont. They received an offer from Xfinity for 12 months of internet for $19.99 per month with a one year term agreement. That offer ended September 3rd but they usually start a new one soon after. There are some "catches" as would be expected. They try to sell you Xfinity Mobile and other services, its $5 more if you don't use their autopay service, new residential customers only, limited to performance starter internet (10Mbps), penalty to cancel early, etc. They use it and so far are happy.

The cheapest is DSL from Centurylink, but as the time tested saying goes, "you get what you pay for". If you want really good, fast, and reliable internet service, then you have to pay the $$ and deal with the hated Comcast. And if you want to "cut the cord" from cable TV, then you need really good, fast, and reliable internet service. I both hate and love Comcast, but can't justify not having their high speed wired broadband internet service.

You need "GOOD" internet service, fast is subjective. Many people have 25MBS and are very happy with that speed. I have 8 wifi devices and 65MBS is more than enough. You can start off with the lower speed and upgrade if you need to.

I have Comcast with an internet speed of 150 mbps, so 10 mbps sounds very slow. The Xfinity Mobile cell service is very good and cheap, and uses the Verizon network. If you don't use much data, it is only $12 per GB per month with unlimited talk and text. Unlimited data is $45 per month, much cheaper than Verizon.
