Another lovely adult child living with parents situation in TV
Check out how their 33 year old 6' 5" 295 pound son reacted when they tried to take away the non-prescribed Xanax he was scarfing down on their lanai on the unmentionable online news.

I saw this also. Sure wouldn't want to tell the people who are the next-door neighbors that this is a meaningless isolated problem with 'little' connection to other villagers. (it's not, at least once a month, probably more we don't know about). I wonder what this 33 year does during the normal day? Drive the golf cart on Xanax? Probably. Maybe the car? Mommy's car? Probably. He was out on the home’s lanai, which was in complete disarray when police came. Since they don't live in a CYV, then everyone could see this. Great.

Look to the individual doing the wrongs and do not pay that much attention to his or her age or whether or not he or she owns a house or not. Cyber bullying has lead to suicide of teens and pre-teens. huh? How do you cyber-bully a criminal? Maybe the Sheriff's department is bullying because they arrested him. Yes, DO PAY attention to people who point out the warts in The Villages. It's not all lollipops and ice-cream. The bleeding-hearts are just that. It's not their problem so maybe we should dismiss it. Nice (<---- sarcasm) Bleeding hearts. Since Manaboutown doesn't live here, maybe he cannot really think in terms of how big TV really is. Between SR42 and SR44 there are about 60,000 homes. I played neighborhood softball for 15 seasons (5 years) in a row and yet away from the diamonds I have never crossed paths with anyone that I know from softball. I have been a regular user of MVP at Brownwood for 4-1/2 years and yet I've only ran into someone I know from the gym one time, this past February at a Johnny Wild show at Brownwood square.
My point is, mingling or even having casual contact with any of these criminals is probably something you'll probably never have to worry about. Essentially we're a small city and I have to admit the Sumter County Sheriffs does a great job in keeping us safe. |
What is your problem and that is addressed to those who have their panties in a wad because of two things...
.....A small percentage of children of Villagers have problems .....A website decides to print everything that appears "gossip fodder" from the police blotter. I would ask your objective in this daily and continuing barrage of insinuations, and downright mean spirited accusations ? Now I read that the main offender does not even live in The Village and is simply a mean person with no life who is trying to hurt others with his words that are not backed up by any facts, nor motivation. I suggest to all of you, to get the h3%% off the computer and get outside. Enjoy life. I, for one, am sick and tired of unsubstantiated accusations that are simply mean. When the Developer or their sales agents market The Villages as totally free of "sin" then get upset. YOU all need a hobby and a change of reading sites. Or go down to the market, pick up a National Enquirer, sit back with "whatever" and read all the insinuations and half baked gossip and lies......that seems to be your goal in life. |
Seems some are taking a conversation personal. Un-bunch the panties.
So, with G's logic, since it is a small thing here and other places are worse then it should be our own little secret. That is the same as how communities hide terrorists. Oh, since it isn't happening to ME personally and it is only a few people in the whole community then we should just ignore it. Come on. The % of adult children living here to crime compared to the % of home owners to crime is a big #. Is there a tax write-off that makes people overlook the negative. You know if your adult child is a screw up. You can't be blind or surprised, you made them. 6 foot 5, 300 pounds and on Xanax and living at home? Come on. Maybe they shouldn't be allowed to live here in the lease. Maybe only 2 people should be full-time residents. :bigbow: :bigbow: :bigbow: |
