Wildwood Dentists
 

Has anyone used Wildwood Dentists on CR44? They are on our insurance and we are considering them.

My wife went there last week. They did complete X-rays and doctor exam. I thought we scheduled a cleaning. They then recommended the following services:

IRR W/Gross Scale $84
FM GING Scaling $195


These services sound like deep cleaning we have had before but I thought insurance covered. Contacting insurance to see what the cost of these services will be.

Some what concerned they are suggesting unneeded services.

They are good Dentists but are always pushing extras not covered by insurance.

A good dentist does not push extras. Please be very careful using dental practices that insist on "deep cleaning". It is a procedure that has the potential to be profitable for the dentist, but most of the time unnecessary. I have researched these practices, have personal experience and a background in dentistry. I would always get another opinion, and then a third.

We went to Dr. Jerkins this past week and his work was fair and he didn't add on anything extra and I would highly recommend him. 352-728-8881 On Route 27 across from the Dodge Dealer in Fruitland Park. Just before Legends.
