Just saw that stat on the news. How can people be so irresponsible, stupid, or, more than likely, have criminal intent to where they could do that to a child?

Two of the most recent of these were in the Orlando, FL area.

Maybe one of these would be a nice gift for someon that has little people riding in the back.

I agree with the question on how people can "forget"! I always knew when we had our kiddos and grandkids in our car. They're pretty vocal (even as babies) to let one know they're there. Forgetting to take out your coffee maybe but not your child!!!!

Thank you for sharing this information. I posted this on Facebook. I know a few people who are new grandparents or are soon to be grandparents.

I just don't understand even how it would be remotely possible to forget my children are in the car.

As I know people who have lost a child I find your claim that the most likely reason for a death in a hot car is that the parent MEANT TO KILL THEIR CHILD extremely hostile, vicious, and evil. There is absolutely no evidence for your belief which you state as a fact. There has been one case I can find, exactly one, case where any evidence pointed to the death as intentional. There were nearly 1000 deaths since 1990. One of 1000 is not "more than likely" and I wonder about the belief system of a person who would inflict additional pain on parents who loose a child in this horrible way by suggesting it was likely they killed the child on purpose.
