Tax Preparers in TV Area?
 

Looking for a solid recommendation, on a tax preparer in the Villages (or close by).. Moved in last december from NYS, bought house, retired, cashed some stock, etc... need Fed and NYS tax forms done! Thanks..

We moved here in 2004 from AL, which has state income tax. A friend recommended Sorenson Tax Advisory and we used them. They prepared and filed both Federal and AL state taxes for us. I think they charged less than $70 for both.

We've used them since for our taxes and have never had a complaint. Dropped information off last Wednesday, got a call today that it was ready. For $49, they prepare and e-file.

They are located on Buenos Aires Blvd. and telephone number is 751-4590.

I have found RICHARD SCHULTHEIS of AMERICAN TAX AND CPA SERVICES to be an excellent resource. The main office is in Leesburg but they have an office in LaPlaza Grande just -south of Winn Dixie.

Everyday at the Colony Cottage rec center there's a tax guy offering help.I believe he's there fro 8:30 a.m to 3 p.m.

bosox, thanks for the info, are u pretty sure he's there everyday, i'd like to go there tomorrow but not sure how to find him

I agree with jazzy48. I have also used Sorensen Tax Advisory on Buenos Aires Blvd. and found them very good and quite reasonable.

I also use Sorenson Tax Advisory Group and find them excellent. They work with you and after picking up your finished tax papers and you have any questions they will answer all questions and go over everything with you. I would recommend them highly.

Am thinking of using Sorensen tax services also. They also do investment and financial planning. Has anyone used them for either of these services? Thanks.

Not only is "he" there, there are an entire team of approx 10 workers, all of whom have tons of experience with filing income tax returns. These are all professionals and are doing a great, great service.....and accurately.:clap2:
