Stay as far away from this company as you can!!!!! We hired them to maintain our lawn and their service leaves very much to desired. They were supposed to cut our lawn once a week for the summer months. But there were several weeks where they didn't show up at all. When they did show up they didn't have all the equipment to do the job. Either they were missing a blower, a trimmer, or pole saw for the palm trees. We paid them up front because they gave us a discount if we paid for a year in advance. We have made numerous attempts to contact them and get them to honor their Service Agreement. However, they were slow to respond or the owner, Logan Bollenback, gave us all kinds of excuses as the why our lawn wasn't getting mowed. After a few months we were so disappointed that we asked for our money back. Again Mr Bollenback got nasty with us. So we decided to take him to court.

I assume you are saying small claims court.
Be sure to read about it before you proceed. First of all you need to be sure you are suing the right person or perhaps corporation. It is far too common for people to do business under a false name. Assuming you win, collecting your judgment is likely to be another hassle.

Paying a year in advance. I know many people do this BUT I would not. As you've discovered once they are paid you've lost control.

We used a guy for three years-C.A.P. MOWING. We liked him. He was reliable. He did a good job. We paid him monthly. Last year, he just disappeared.No reply to calls or e-mails. So he STOLE two weeks from us. For these people, perhaps, my fault, are they more than a pile of business cards at a cost of $10 or so.

Another case of this company taking a $10,000 check and not doing any of the work and cashing the check. Report file with police. This is the 6th complaint against them. BEWARE!
