Golf Cart Won't back up
 

at times the cart will not more in reverse. we have tried to clean the contacts and it works some of the time. do we need a new part? can we install it ourself?:shrug:

this is a club car, electric, 2002 or 2003 - also goes thru a set of breaks every year. we use the ccart for almost all travel so we do put a lot of miles on it. Tires wear out fast also, our front tires are going bald! this is the 2nd set in 4 years.

We have the bar that moves right for reverse and left for forward. Sometimes if you go forward a little it'll then go back; right now it is doing it all the time, can't get out of the garage without a push.:shrug:
