Dentists - Lesh vs. Kim
Looking for a good Delta dentist. I've tried asking in the medical forum but it doesn't seem to get much traffic. I've eliminated several providers based on other comments and have now narrowed the search to Robert Lesh at Southern Trace (golf cart accessible) or Thomas Kim at Bright Smile (10 minutes away by car). Does anyone have any experiences, good or bad, with these dentists and/or their hygienists?

I use Dr. Lesh. Southern Trace Dental is a very clean and modern facility. The office staff is very professional. Dr. Lesh may at times be somewhat gruff, and at times he doesn't talk too much, but his dental skills are above reproach. I believe you couldn't find a better dentist anywhere.

Dr. Lesh
As a matter of fact, I saw Dr. Lesh again yesterday for my 6-month check....all was great. I really like him and his staff. The first time I ever met him, he said, "Just call me Donnie". (That really set well with me since I have a son by the same name.) Seriously, he's good and does not do anything that is not necessary. He says I have a couple in the back that look questionable, but he can find nothing wrong....so "see you in 6 months". (I grew up in West Texas where there was a lot of natural fluoride in the water which makes some parts of the teeth sometimes look like decay is happening or about to happen, but it isn't.)

!8 months ago my wife was in agony with tooth pain,an electician working at our house recommended Dr Thomas Kim to us at the Brightsmile clinic in Leesberg,we went straight away without having made an appointment,it was 4 pm and Dr. Kim agreed to see her straight away, he gave a first class service relieving the pain immediatly and in subsequent follow up visits performed root canal treatment which was very successful at a extremely reasonable price. Now we would not go anywhere else and we are from the UK

Am a retired DDS and I use Dr. Kim for my dental needs

Dr. Lesh
This Dr. Lesh sounds like the kind of dentist I like. Not all fired on making everything perfect but to just do a good job of maintaining what is there. I have a tooth in the back that is cracked and my current dentist has been watching it for more than five years. It is not getting any worse and causes no problems. A previous dentist was certain that the only solution was a root canal and a cap. We'll be moving to TV soon and I think I'll look up Dr. Lesh. How are his prices?

We'll be moving to TV this June. My husband will be due for his dental visit then and he should call for an appt in advance. We also have Delta Dental. We were wondering if any of you have had a recent visit with either Dr Lesh or Dr Kim - both seem to have a great recommendation on this thread. Thanks.

Dr. Burbank?
I have had two people recommend Dr. Burbank. Anyone know him? At this point now, I am leaning toward Dr. Lesh.

I worked in the Dental Field for over 30 years and have used Dr. Lesh after looking at offices, checking insurance and meeting with staff. So far we've seen Dr. Lesh twice for our 3 month cleanings. Every thing has been fine. No problems. Of course he is golf cart accesible which is a bonus too.

Thanks for the info. I also spoke with his office and they were very helpful. We'll try him.:D

Lesh will see you on short notice. I call and they tell me to come right in so I shower and go.
