We are thinking of expanding our screened pool area. Has anyone else done this and if so can you recommend any contractor to us..Thanks!

We had T&D do ours a couple of years ago. The price was reasonable and they did a nice job. They made sure we conformed to the restrictions on our lot, surveyed to see how large we could go due to the slope of the yard, and we didn't pay a cent until we were completely satisfied with the result.

White asked for a down payment,to pay individually for the spriklers to be moved and to pay the concrete people. Quality Screen & Alum. asked for nothing down, to pay only when the job was complete and we were totally satisfied.

We have used White's Aluminum twice. The first time in 2007 they added a birdcage and glassed in our lanai. Nice job. We moved in January and used them again for a large birdcage.

Whites does many birdcages in TV. We have been satisfied both times and would recommend them.

We had Blake from Quality come out a couple of weeks ago to discuss a job for us, he measured, said he'd get back to us about that and another project...and we never heard from him after that...nada, nil, nothing...cannot recommend...went with Martin Alum and cannot say that I recommend that outfit either...appear to be very disorganized.

After some research, and several quotes, we went with D & J Construction, LLC. Small company. Owners Dave and Jason were on site and did most of the work. Good price, excellent quality. We were here when the inspector came and he said they did an excellent job and called them to compliment them. Have recommended them to several others and they are all pleased.
A big plus, they did the whole job!

T & D is currently adding a golf cart garage and extending/closing in the lanai with sliding glass doors. We are very pleased with the work so far. Jim, the supervisor, is here everyday to explain things to us and watch over the work progress. We saw 6 other places that they have done, including one recent one and five that were anywhere from 2-6 years old. There was nothing but praise for them. We had several other estimates including one from TOTV advertiser Who quoted us exactly DOUBLE the T&D quote! T&D was not the cheapest, but we were impressed with their work. Also, T&D handled all of the preliminaries, including ARC as we have a small lot and wanted to make sure that all would be proper. We were given copies of all ARC replies, etc.
