Health Insurance Age 58 The Villages
 

I am 58 years old. I currently have health insurance in the state of Virginia that I purchased off market and not thru an employer. In 2018 we established residency in Florida but we have and will continue to travel back to Virginia periodically throughout the year. (we have a second home there) Should I keep my Virginia Health Insurance plan and schedule my doctor visits when I am in Virginia or obtain Health Insurance in Florida (which to me means finding and establishing myself with all new doctors in Florida) Also should I buy some type of supplemental insurance that would cover me in case of an accident while in the state that does not hold my health insurance?
