Just noticed the new Amazon Prime Video app added to Comcast Xfinity. Easy to access too providing that you have an Amazon Prime account.

Yes, and Netflix and Youtube. But, it is amazing how many people do not understand the difference between accessing Comcast apps through the cable box and accessing them using wifi. You don't even need an internet connection to use the apps on the Comcast box.

I tried using Amazon thru Xfinity and my only complaint was that I couldn't get closed captioning to work. I like to watch British detective shows and find I need the closed captioning. despite putting it "on" nothing showed up.

I worked for me. Press the down arrow on the Comcast remote, go all the way to the right and select "cc", and then select "turn subtitles on", then select "close".
