Anyone have an idea of how much rain we got today?

As of this moment at my home in Amelia 1.77" (still raining).

We’re at 2.5” in Santiago.

For some weird reason it rarely rains as much here as in other parts of T.V. :D More times than not over the summer it would be pouring up by Mallory CC (1 mile down (up?) O'Dell) but where we are the streets aren't even wet.

It has been pouring all day.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we got over 3”.
I should get a rain guage.

I can't remember a full day of rain like this since the storm that I no want to talk about it too much. Remember the bigga one in The Hysterical Section no power over one week. So far so good.

I hope everybody is doing O.K. We were going to the movies for an after midnight show and turned around, not worth the risk. We had to swim home.

As of 6:30 this morning, my gauge has 4.75” in St. James. Wow! This has been a heck of a rain system.

I am surprised that some newbie hasn't complained that the sprinklers are all on on public grounds...…….

As of 7:30 am here in Charlotte a touch over 3”

Great rainy day, night, morning. Laundry, dishes and dusting done. I need sunshine!
