Senior Dachshunds Looking For A Home

2 Attachment(s)
Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida has two individual senior dachshunds looking for their forever homes. Don't worry if a dog is located in a foster home that is too far for you to drive. Low Rider can arrange transportation.

Do any of you know of anyone who might be looking to adopt a senior dachshund? Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida has a couple of seniors who are looking for a home. They are not a pair. They are individuals, but you can adopt both if you want to.

Smilo, the distinguished black and tan boy, is 15 years young. He had a family who loved him his whole life until he came into rescue. (I don't have the info., but he may have had an owner who went into assisted living or passed.) He wobbles a little when he walks and can't see out of one eye, but that doesn't stop him from being full of love and wanting to share it with someone. He gets medicine in his eye every day, but cooperates like a champ. He would love to bring in the New Year with a new family to call his own.

The handsome red boy is Victor. He is listed as 8 years old and loves to be on a lap. He has shown food aggression & would do best as an only dog. He’s a sweet boy, likes car rides, & loves to talk with an unusual voice. Victor is very active but will quickly fall asleep on the pillow next to you. A fenced yard would be preferable, but someone who walks frequently would work, too. Victor’s Christmas Wish is a Forever Home. Can you make his wish come true?

If you would like to know more about either of these precious little guys, you can read their bios on the rescue's "Adoptables" page at Adoptables – LowRider Dachshund Rescue Of Florida. Any questions should be directed to the rescue. http://fldr.org/contact-us/
