Cart clicks but doesn't move
 

Twice I have had trouble getting my electric cart to move.
Turn the key and hit the accelerator and all there is is a click from the battery compartment.
The first time, switching the ignition off then on again solved the problem.
The second time it didn't, but leaving the ignition on and rocking the cart did.
Is this likely to be just an annoying occasional glitch, or does some part need replacing?

Let me be the first to ask what the cart is, model make if you know, year? Sounds like my Par car last year ;)

Sounds like a dead spot on the motor armature. I doubt there is anything you can do about it yourself.

It is an EZ-GO, but not sure what year - I bought it secondhand - but at least five years old

Only happens occasionally, and not a problem if rocking it gets it moving. I just don't want to be asking you good people for a push home :-)
