He is right. They have an amazing system so that there aren't open tee times. In almost 12 years there was only twice I was matched with someone I didn't enjoy.

Sign up for the tee time system through TheVillages.net You can either sign up for assignment by entering the courses you want to play (probably those closest to where you are staying) and the time frame you are willing to play. The more courses you enter and the broader the time frame (and the earlier) the better chance you have to get a favorable assignment. Three days or sooner you can go out and search the available tee times at all the courses. eg: Sunday for Wednesday It seems complicated but you will get used to it. You will get paired with other golfers of varying talent, but almost all will be enjoyable company. Plus you can pick their brain about TV and possibly make new friends.
