Special a Holiday Trash/Recycling pickup.
 

Who else did not get their recycling picked up today? About 8:00 our “regular” trash was picked up. At 8:30 another truck buzzed up and down the street picking nothing! One of the two trucks screwed up!

Yes, I let the district know, but they are not working today so may email is just trash piling up in somebody’s inbox...and my recycling trash is still at the end of the driveway. :cus:

That is disappointing to read. I live in Santiago was well. It was out last night. I guess I will bring it in.

I'm in Pinellas and put my recycle bag out last night and it was picked up very early this morning.

I was out a while ago and noticed about 7 streets off of Enrique Drive did not have their recycling picked up.

No trash pickup here in Amelia today. Per VCCD website and the Happy News it was supposed to be. We did have our normal pickup yesterday (FRI) so it seemed kinda silly to have the Christmas Day pickup made today ... but it was 'sposed to be. No big deal, just sayin'.

Here is an update! Received a call from TV Customer Service this morning. They apologized for missing the pickup. There is a Monday pickup over in Glenbrook and Polo Ridge. They told us to put our recycling out and they would pick it up at the end of the route. It is gone! Good customer service.

Recycled materials could keep in the garage for 3 - 5 days. Trash is a different story.
Oh well.

I live in Santiago and put my recyclables out Friday night. They were still there Saturday afternoon until I brought them back inside. Not good customer service as far as I'm concerned.

My normal trash pick up is on Tuesdays and Fridays. Does this mean I will not have trash pick up on Friday, December 28th? Why would they pick up trash two days in a row?

Village Community Development Districts 1-11
If you live in Village Community Development Districts 1-11 in the Sumter County, Marion County or Fruitland Park portions of The Villages, there will not be sanitation collection on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. For those with Tuesday trash and/or recycling, collection will occur on Saturday, December 29th. Please have your bags out no later than 6:00 a.m. All others will follow your normal collection schedule.

Village Community Development District No. 12
If your sanitation collection is serviced by Waste Management in the Villages of Fenney, DeSota, and McClure, you will not have sanitation collection service on Tuesday, January 1st. Collection will occur on your next normally scheduled collection day.
