Swimsuit shopping

Hello everyone,

I am heading down there for a month on May 1st and my girlfriend has bought another swimsuit for herself so I was thinking maybe I should do. My hubbie says hold off because there may be lots of deals down there for such a thing.

We only have a few shops here for suits or the catalogue so was wondering if there is any good swimsuit shops that you could recommend. I tried that As we Age web site and they looked wonderful but a tad bit expensive. Any other ideas, guys would be appreciated.

Thanks to all,

sincerely,
layaway queen

Depending on how fashionable you want to be.....

Beall's has lots of summer clothes and swimsuits.

Beall's outlets has great prices on some decent swimsuits (about $30 for a "$70" swimsuit and if you are a senior another 15% off on Wednesday (I think)).

Note to self: Swimsuit season is around the corner. Must loose weight.

PT..... I've got plenty of "loose" weight that I need to lose.:icon_hungry:

Just kidding....always fun to catch you English/Journalism majors in a faux pas.

p.s. shhhh. Don't tell Tony. I just remembered he once said a journalism major is an English major who can't spell. Eeeek (too bad you can't use emoticons for edits)-- hopefully, he took the night off.

p.p.s. don't tell BK either. She might throw the book at me. The Associated Press Style Book, that is. (too bad you can't use emoticons on 2nd edits)

p.p.p.s. I started to say the AP Style Book, which is what it is really called. But then, Tony would throw the book at me. Sheesh. Oh yeah, Tony's off tonight. Hopefully.

Oh for the bod that once wore the suit
and didn't resemble a pear, but looked cute
in a two piece, a maillot and even a bikini.
Now my butt is too big and my top is too teeny.

Sigh.

Just got back in from a night under the stars, and I noticed that one of my
recent postulates has been proven correct. It is so good to be correct
every now and then.

Anthony's in Colony Plaza also has a very good selection of very reasonably priced suits. New shop in LSL called Mermaids, I think has lots of suits but they are pricier.

swimsuit shopping

I have usually found good buys at TJ Maxx up north, don't know if the one by Target in Rolling Acres has a good selection or not, but would think so. I personally would go shopping up north ahead of my visit, so as not to ruin a vacation by swimsuit shopping (always brings on depression):)

Depending on your style and taste, etc. My wife gets her swimsuits at Venus & Victoria Secret. Of course they have to be ordered, but you can get some pretty good deals on their sales.
