Looks like counter seating, and different hot sauces sitting on the back shelf

Let's hope bar skills include mixing top notch Margaritas. That skill is mostly lacking here.

Oh great..

Nothing like watching a movie in a confined space with an audience full of Mexican food!

Am I the only one that sees the downside to this??

No less time in the tummy as opposed to eating at home waiting your stomach grumble for a couple hours before you hit the big screen. :clap2::clap2:

Doubt if that many movie-goers will be eating there before their movie. Maybe, after.

Not after a large popcorn.

Chi-Town 01-03-2019 10:15 PM

Got a feeling that a lot of non movie goers will eating (and drinking) there.

It's cafeteria style. aka "Fast Food". Carry your own food. Find a place to sit if you're lucky.

Skip

I looked at their menu when they were training staff last week and it looks like it might be quite good.

M Mamros 01-29-2019 09:15 AM

Gave it a try last week (the waitress said they were only opened for three days). Food was very bad - dry tacos, soggy tortilla chips (not even sure how you get chips to be soggy !!!), out of salsa. Hopefully, it was just growing pains. To be fair, we will give it one more try in a month or so after they have a chance to get their processes down. Margaritas were very good, so there is hope.

Is Lazy Mac's owned/operated by The Villages?

Bogie Shooter 01-29-2019 01:46 PM

Why would you bash a place , on social media, when they had only been open 3 days?

VILLAGERBB 01-29-2019 04:26 PM

Anyone go to the grand opening?

VILLAGERBB 01-30-2019 04:10 PM

Did anyone attend the grand opening?

Sadly, it's par for the course here. Most bash a place before it's even open.

The menu description of the Durango chicken sounds so much better than it actually is. I had the chicken placed on top of lettuce for a salad. Darn if I could find the chicken!!! The chicken pieces were so tiny, terribly dry and tasteless. I won't be having that again. I also had one of the Monday $1 beef tacos. The beef tasted good but there was so little of it. What did I expect for $1?

Hubby had nachos with chicken but there was not much chicken at all on the platter..... naybe a total of 6 or 8 small pieces. The white "OMG" queso drizzled over the nacho chips is really good though.
