I am looking for feedback from anyone that has recently had knee surgery from Dr Nguyen.

I had a TKR on 11-11-13 from Dr. Nguyen. So, from personal experience he is excellent. It will take some time from initial visit and date of surgery, but his expertise is worth the wait.

I had 3 surgeries by Dr. Nguyen in 2015. I had fallen and broken my leg. After the break healed it left me with what Tri -County Ortho diagnosed as a hematoma. Walked around with a huge swelling on side of right leg for over a year while they x-rayed me constanly. Finally got my appointment with Dr. Nguyen to replace both of my knees. He asked what happened here and pointed to swelling and I told him what I had been going through. He said it was not a hematoma but a Morel Lesion and needed surgery. This was verified with an MRI and he removed a huge packet of fluid from the side of my leg. That was April 2015, then in July 2015 he replaced my left knee, and Oct 2015 replaced my right knee. All done in day surgeries because I was 64 then and was not under Medicare. If you are Medicare it requires overnight stays. All recoveries were pretty quick as long as you do the exercises. I was the 25th and 26th knee replaced on our street by Dr. Nguyen. Others on the street have gone to Dr. Williams recently because it's much closer being at the Sharon Morse Bldg and they have had great results too. He is with Advanced Orthopedics Institute with Dr. Cook who did my wrist in 2017.

Several neighbors had knee replacements, 1 had hip replacement with excellent results. I recently went to him and he recommended some alternative treatments rather than knee surgery. Very pleased.

Just curious what were the alternative treatments? And that was under dr Williams?
