RC Car Track
 

Does anyone have any info on the new and upcoming RC car track in the Evergreen Rec Center Complex.

I don't but some enterprising individual should open an RC store nearby and take advantage of all the newbies that will get involved in both the cars and boats. I plan on giving it a try.

Wish they would put a slot car track in one of the rec centers......the kind that was popular back in the 60s. I still have my old slot car & controller, but have no idea if it would still run after 50+ years.

I still have mine somewhere in my attic back home. Such nice memories. All the grass I cut just to buy parts and track time.

There is a large RC outdoor track at The market at Marion ( flea mkt) on 441/27. It looks mostly like a off road course rather than a race track but challenging if you're into that sort of hobby..

It's Everglades, not Evergreen. But no detailed information. I've seen a rendering that looks to me like an outdoor, off-road style dirt track. I wouldn't be surprised if that's all anyone knows or sees until it's actually finished.
