My Old and Beloved Dog.
 

I apologize if this topic has been discussed before, but cannot find it doing a search.

We are moving from Delaware to TV in June. We have a 15 year old standard poodle who is the best boy in the world. The average life span for these guys is 11, so he is off the charts, but then again he has always been exceptional.

Do any of you have experience with a vet and an older dog? The lady vet I have here in Delaware is wonderful. She has really helped with some of his arthritis issues.

Can someone recommend a vet for me? I want to have doggie's records transferred just before we move. We will be living in Belvedere, so if Vet is close to 466, that would be a plus, but will drive anywhere for a good vet.

Welcome to you and your doggie. You will certainly get good answers here about a vet because The Villages is filled with devoted dog owners much to my pleasure. I don't own a dog but I very much enjoy watching them and being allowed to be friends with some.
