KFC Lunch Buffet
Was interested in eating at KFC near Spanish Springs, after a good lunch buffet experience near Charlotte, NC. Problem? Buffet is not replenished on the buffet line. Encountered a "mother-may-I" policy to obtain more chicken as part of the fixed price unlimited buffet, by having to go to the register counter to request more. The chicken portion of the buffet is not available on the serving line with the gravy, slaw, green beans, cheese macaroni as other KFC's in the U.S.
You then wait in line for an available register clerk to request more chicken, as your other food items from the BUFFET items becomes cold. Employees make up reasons, but when pressed the manager admitted it's the bottom-line oriented owner, who owns 5 KFC outlets in The Villages, FL area with same policy. It may be due to food hoarders living in the area. A manager at Sweet Tomato told me the reason the chicken soup has little to no chicken most days is because some "elderly diners pick out all the meat for their servings". |
This might be the reason. From the late, great John Pinette.

I don't like any buffets, but that one looks particularly bad. It is located off to the side and in a dark area. I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Sometimes all the chicken was out. Sometimes you had to go to the counter.

Do they have frogs legs like the KFC's in France?
