2-legged Dog Needs Help
 

Midnight came to Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida from Ocala. He had to have both back legs and his tail amputated. You can read his story on the rescue's Fundrzr page for him. He is going to need many things: a wheeled cart for mobility, diapers, several garments for changing throughout the day, medicine for the "nubs" where his tail and legs were, and most likely an evaluation on his spine with any ongoing treatment that may be necessary due to the different way he needs to hold his weight without the support of his back legs. And probably support in ways we aren't even aware of yet.

But even though he had a rough start to his life, Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida is going to do everything possible to make the rest of his life a happy one.
