LED Light Bar on the Cart

I've been looking to supplement my golf cart front lighting with an LED front mounted light bar. Found a few ideas of what I want and mounting options, but wonder what you folks are using and where you installed them? Did it make a difference? Thinking around 1300-1600 lumens to keep the foot print manageable.

I did a forum search but came up empty.

I have been looking at LEDs for a number of applications. These are easy to install if you have the time and a few simple tools. I suggest you look at this for DIY: "LED light Installation instructions" on the internet. You will find many helpful sites and all the material needed.

Where to buy and the installation is not a problem for me. Was thinking it will probably go on the Yamaha plastic bumper. Thanks for all your concerns about blinding and causing headaches to others.

I have noticed a few installs around the Villages and thought maybe those folks might chime in on their performance....

:ohdear: Headache was not from lights..... maybe a post I could not decipher. My fault I should have quoted post..... but then it would have been removed. :icon_wink:

Please let us know how you make out. Thinking about doing the same on my cart. I see MUCH better at night with wife's LED headlights on her 2019 Yamaha.

Just looked.... I did quote.... sorry!

I had Carts and Clubs install LED headlights on my cart; I also installed a small LED light bar on my Yamaha front bumper.

I come home from work a lot of times at night and I like to see what’s in front of me.

Off road light bars should be against the law when used on state roads

That's where I put mine, had the Villages golf store do it. It really helps at night,

I’m going To get one of the locomotive, or barge lights, or better yet lighthouse lantern put on front of my golf cart and turn night into day. I won’t care if it blinds oncoming traffic cause the lights can’t be adjusted not shine in the eyes of on coming traffic, after all it about me don’t care if I blind them.

LOL ... Or you could just get a little piece of the sun and tape it to the front of your cart ... use good tape  and wear oven mitts ...

Think of the carts driving toward you on the trail. They are blinded
