Starbucks Coming to Southern Trace
 

From today's Daily Sun: "State and county records both now list a private development group as planning a Starbucks cafe for a small retail center on a vacant parcel of land off County Road 466 between BB&T and Village Dental at Southern Trace Plaza. <snip>"

I am officially jealous! We need one near 466A.

Great news! WE love Starbucks, bold blend, black, no sugar! Not a fan of all those fancy milky blends.

I agree 100%. They do have a "blonde coffee" that isn't burned, but like everything else at Starbucks, is overpriced and not something I purchase unless I'm stuck in an airport that doesn't have a MacDonalds.

Easy solution for those that don't like the taste of Starbucks coffee.

Don't go to Starbucks.

Lattes, Mochas, Frappuccinos.....who drinks just coffee there? That's what Dunkin' Doughnuts is for.

So true. Another thread asked about ways to save money -- here's one ... don't pay $6-7 bucks for a cup of coffee!

I’m thrilled they are adding one at Southern Trace. I will live right between two of them!

I really wish they added one, or some similar place, at Pinellas Plaza. So many folks out walking and with no place to reward yourself at the end. I love going out for a long walk and then stopping for a reward, or heading to a coffee shop after playing tennis or golf just to chat with friends. I would think one at Pinellas would get a lot of business.

To tell you how much I like a place to get a latte: our lifestyle visit was at Alden Bungalows near Brownwood. The morning line at Duncan Donuts was ridiculous, and I’m not even sure if they have espresso. I told my husband I wasn’t moving to the Villages because unless I could walk to get a latte. And then we found Lake Sumter Landing.

I think the Villages was smart to add the latte bar at the Fenney rec center. They should consider adding one to some of the other remote rec centers, like Rohan and Savannah.

I've had the 'blonde', it was good once, but the consistency is not there, tastes different everytime I went.... in Tampa. I do not go to Starbucks.
