Healthy and tasty
Red cabbage just hit the 'healthy list' and here's a great easy
way to try it out. Clean and slice thin, one half small head of Red Cabbage. Saute' in 1 tb. butter or oli oil for 3 min.(stirring, stirring, stirring). Add 1/4 cup water, 1 bay leaf, 1/4 slice/peel apple, 1/4 cup jam 1/4 cup red wine and dash or two of cloves and sprinkle 1 tb. flour on top. Simmer 10 min. or so and serve hot. |
