Today’s Daily Sun has a report that should satisfy nearly all the details you are seeking.

Which is quite unusual.

For those that don't read the Sun....apparently one driver pulled in front of the other (I think it's a bad intersection at times). The cart riders were thrown out of the cart.

As for it being unusual...I'm thinking BobnBev think it's not often The Sun reports these things but I'd say it's not so anymore. We see postings all the time.

That's got to be crazy scary for you all, that many traffic accidents. Most of the accidents around here are on the interstate during rush hour, or during snow storms. The rest of the time it's almost always just a fender bender, no injuries, no one getting tossed out of vehicles. Then again we don't have golf carts, or an influx of people during any particular season. We're over 100,000 all year round in our part of the state, not including the actual city, which has an additional 131,000

Don't know all the particulars about the rash of recent accidents but now we have return of snowbirds, renters, visitors and a lot of golf cart operators taking dangerous chances and not using common sense which I've witnessed a lot of lately. You will lose if you play chicken with a car that outweighs you 5 fold. Just my opinion.

Not anymore crazy scary then anyplace else. If you don’t pay attention or take chances you might get whacked.

This happened to me today. I was pulling out of our Postal center on Bailey Trail and a man in a golf cart just backed up in front of me as I was moving forward. He saw me coming but he just kept backing up so he could get in front of me. Some people here can be rude and careless.

Some are entitled

BK001 02-01-2019 03:07 PM

And, sadly, some have diminished hearing, slower reactions and even worse, impaired sight
