I have been with Raymond James since 2003 (also have Wells Fargo since 1982 but that's another story) and have been more than satisfied however, that probably has more to do with the adviser then the company. As far as I know all Investment companies have resources that provide views, guidance and opinions, it's what the adviser does to apply all that information to your particular needs and risk tolerances. My adviser is in Pennsylvania and unless he retires or dies I will continue to stay with him due to his success with my stuff. You should also know that RJ has several structures. You can work directly for the Company as an employee of a Company office or you can be an independent adviser and run your own office and I think there is something between the two so make sure you know what your guy's structure is. My guy is an independent adviser.
