There are no "carpenter licenses " in Florida. You pays your nickel and takes your chances.

Interesting. When I first read your question, I thought wow, I've never heard of a carpenter being licensed in New York or New Jersey. Don't know about Florida although that was addressed above.

Probably a 'business' license and the business is bonded.
